'TOMMIE SHOP' INFORMATION, RETURNS & EXCHANGE POLICY

Please note that due to the nature of vintage items being preloved and used, there may be slight signs of age in items. We do not consider this to be a fault, but rather a unique charm which adds to the history of each garment.

We take care and finesse in selecting each item by hand, to provide you with pieces that are rare and one of a kind.

Please note we do not accept refunds or exchanges for this reason. We take time and care with our listings to make sure all information is accurate. If you feel we have missed something please email us within two days of receiving your order and we'll be more than happy to assist you.

SHIPPING & PACKAGING: A ZERO WASTE APPROACH

Taking care of the environment is a key mission of ours here at tommie, so it's only natural that much thought and planning went into how best to package our items so that we don't create waste and add to our eco footprint. When all products are created, there is some kind of 'cost', but we have minimised this by choosing to use Kraft paper mailers. To protect your products during transportation we have opted for an insulated padded mailer which instead of being made out of bubble wrap - like traditional polymailers - is made from 100% recycled newspaper.

This product is 100% recyclable and is suitable for kerbside recycling, making it easy and convenient for you to dispose of thoughtfully. Please consider re-using or re-purposing before disposal. 
 

SHIPPING DELIVERY TIMES

All orders are sent with Australia Post, you can find out more information by visiting the Australia Post website. 

All orders are packaged, processed and shipped the following business day of receiving your order, this may extend to a processing time of up to 3 business days during busy periods. 

Priority is given to express orders, so if you need your package to arrive within a certain amount of time, please select this option when checking out, or email us if you have specific requests, instructions or queries that can't be answered in this section. 

For all Australia wide deliveries Regular post orders take approximately 2-4 business to arrive and the next business day for all Express orders. 

For International delivery times, this depends on the country we are posting to; this can vary from 5-25 business days. You can find out more information via the Australia Post website.

 

 

 

 

 

SHIPPING COSTS

Due to the nature of the tommie shop offering one off, vintage items; the weight of each item and package may differ. We offer economical shipping, but in the event that items cost more at the time of shipment than stated on our website, we will confirm with you via email before going ahead and processing the order. And will only charge your card the extra delivery fee once we have received an email confirmation from you. 

AUSTRALIA:

Regular post Australia wide - $12.00

Express Post Australia wide - $18.00

Inner West, Sydney Collection - If you would like to collect your items from us personally to save on shipping costs, you can collect your items from us every Tuesday or Wednesday (location will be provided via email). 

INTERNATIONAL:

Flat rate of $40.00

In the event that the shipping cost is higher than the charged fee, we will contact you directly through email to verify the final cost before going ahead and charging your card. Once we have received confirmation from you we will go ahead and charge your card the extra fee and ship your order. If your packed parcel costs less than $40.00 at the time of shipment  we will refund your card the difference. An email will be sent to you confirming this information. 

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

All orders sent within Australia Post come with tracking which will be emailed to you as soon as your order is packed and processed.

All orders are sent via the standard post shipping method, which do not come with insurance. 

No responsibility is taken for lost or stolen packages. If you require insurance for your order please email us directly and we will obtain a quote for you.
