SOLD OUT: Vintage 80's Animal Safari Tapesty Jacket

$45.00

Safari animals galore with this 80's/90's button up jacket found and sourced in Palm Springs, California.

We couldn't go past this find, as animals always win our heart. It features giraffes, elephants and a cacti scene. This is an easy-to-wear vintage piece in great condition. In it's neutral black and white colour, and horizontal, medium sized scaled print it's easy to match back with different pieces. Features two front working pockets.

STYLING TIPS: Great teamed back with a vintage t-shirt underneath, you can have a play by doing up all, none or some of the buttons. The buttons are silver. Wear with your favourite baggy, blue jeans or a slim leg black jean for a dressier look. Wear with either flat or heeled boots - knee high or ankle - or team back with some colourful kicks! Perfect over your favourite pair of denim overalls. Wear this with some denim shorts in the Summer, a corduroy skirt for added texture or some funky, brightly coloured pants! Have fun with this one! You can use a silk scarf or neckerchief - like we have here - as a fun accessory; tie it through the belt loops of your jeans, or sneakily stuff it in your back pocket for an added bonus of colour!

SIZING: Nat here is an AUS size 6 with waist measurement of 24-25 inches and bra size 6DD. This would fit anywhere between an AUS Size 6 - small AUS 12, depending on fit and style preference. It is quite wide in the waist on Nat here, but great as a comfortable, oversized look.

MEASUREMENTS: Please note these measurements are taken of a garment laying flat. Please double waist, bust and hip measurement for actual round measurement. These are garment measurements and not body measurements. We recommend wiggle room to ensure a good fit.

Please be aware that the measurements below are a guide only, actual garment may vary slightly.

Thank you for choosing to shop preloved. By supporting secondhand you are investing in a circular fashion economy - one of the most sustainable ways to shop. This approach to shopping means you are not investing your money on new product where virgin materials have been produced, but rather, supporting existing product in the fashion market which is being re-circulated, reinvented and recycled. You are using your dollar and purchasing power to re-invest in preloved clothes, which means these do not end up in landfill, but are recycled, and you're not contributing to the demand of new clothes.

By purchasing a piece of clothing from our tommie shop, you are making the decision to shop mindfully and consciously; all pieces are thoughtfully hand selected one by one by eco fashion stylist and founder of tommie magazine, Natalie Shehata to create a curated shop. You are supporting us as small business, and we thank you for this. All items in this store were purchased from individuals at flea markets,  or small vintage shops - we too are investing our dollar in supporting small business who specialise in second hand clothing.

Thank you for making this decision, you are making the world of difference. Change starts with you, you change-maker!
